One of my favorite things about Scivation is their flavoring, it’s usually strong enough to where you can exceed the water recommendation and still get good flavoring. This flavor is definitely one of those! With the recommended 10-14oz water I found the flavor to be on the sweeter side for me. With 20oz of water it’s perfect! This works for me as I prefer more while working out. On off days I have been drinking this on my drive to work. The added electrolytes are a nice touch in this product. Xtend has always been a go to for me, and this less expensive version is a home run for me. I don’t drink enough plain water so having something that tastes great and is cost effective as well as beneficial, helps me get enough water. I am hoping they add a few more flavors to this product. With the recent heat wave we’ve had this stuff has been an awesome addition to my supp collection.
Flavoring was really done well as most of their products are. I was able to go up to 20 oz, and it still tasted really good. At less than a dollar per serving it really is worth it. Definitely keep me hydrated throughout the session. Was especially needed now that I’ve been adding more cardio in. Give it a shot if you’re looking for a quality bcaa drink the won’t hit your wallet hard with stuff.
Wow. I’ve been taking this product for a week now, and my recovery has drastically improved. Not just like after a typical post workout shake when you don’t feel sore, but do feel a little stiff or slowed down-to-earth this helped me skip that feeling and instead feel loose and ready to go again. Definitely helped with hydration too for sure.
I found the flavor to be pretty enjoyable, especially for a heavily dosed BCAA product which are often plagued by poor aftertastes. The blue raspberry is crisp, fruity, and refreshing. I am a big fan of the original Xtend blue raspberry flavor and this is very similar. I recommend using at least 20 oz of water, which in my opinion is where the flavoring is best balanced. Overall, SciVation Xtend is a fun product to use during workouts to help increase hydration and promote muscle sparing. It really does the trick! Formula – 10/10 Cost-Value – 9/10 Flavoring – 9/10 Overall 9.5/10!
This is the second time I am going through in the Blue Raspberry flavor. The first the product was in offer and this is second time . Very happy with this! Not your typical, chemical tasting Blue Raspberry flavor! This is very tasty and actually delicious. I am using it late in the day as I am currently OMAD and not eating dinner. One scoop in about 18oz of filtered water with some ice cubes in there will taste amazing. I highly recommend this as an IntraWorkout, a PostWorkout, or just a way to get your water in deliciously. Happy!
